The School to Work Transition Program is designed to assist students with disabilities successfully transition from school to adult life in the community. Our Transition Specialists will work with you, your school and your family to identify and connect with community services prior to leaving high school. Through funding from Vocational Rehabilitation Services, we can provide you with free services that will prepare you for life after high school graduation. We can assist with completing government paperwork, setting up and attending appointments, and connecting with all necessary agencies to achieve your transition goals. Communities served include Miami, Tipton and Howard Counties in Indiana.
WorkForce Diversity staff will assist students and grads in identifying their skills, their options, and/or their need for further training and can help explore potential careers by assisting them as they try out jobs on a short term basis.
