    When they think about the future, high school students and recent graduates, can be overwhelmed by the choices.

 

    WorkForce Diversity staff will assist students and grads in identifying their skills, their options, and/or their need for further training.

 

WorkForce Diversity offers:

 

Career Assessment
    WorkForce Diversity staff can help determine specific abilities, interests and attitudes. Written summaries of the testing will be provided to help determine what goals and objectives might be set.

 

Community Based Work Evaluation
    WorkForce Diversity can help explore potential careers by assisting students and grads as they try out jobs on a short term basis.

 

 

Assistance in obtaining a job is provided through:

 

Job Search Skills Development
    WorkForce Diversity staff can teach job search skills including networking, job prospecting, completing applications, reference development, resume development, self-presentation. Interview experiences with feedback are also provided.

 

Resume Development and Review
    WorkForce Diversity can help develop a resume and write appropriate cover letters.

 

Job Placement
    WorkForce Diversity will help develop a work search plan and provide the job seeker with leads.
